Surface Activator is an adhesion promoter used for activating non-porous surfaces to achieve an improved adhesion. Cleaning and degreasing of non-porous substrates.
Applications:
- Improves adhesion.
- Degreasing surfaces in sealant- or bonding applications.
- Improving the adhesion on powder coated aluminum (window profiles), both for regular as for textured powder coatings.
- Improving the adhesion on various plastics: PVC, ABS…
Instructions:
- Apply Surface Activator with a cloth soaked in product.
- Always work with a clean cloth to avoid contamination of the surface.
- Always wipe in one direction.
- After cleaning the surface let dry sufficiently before applying the mastic.
- Surface Activator leaves a white haze on the surface, so only apply to the bonded area.
